Starting with a single Tower Garden on their Atlanta deck, they discovered a passion for sustainable, indoor farming. The convenience and efficiency of this vertical gardening system inspired them to dream bigger.

Driven by a desire to provide fresh, healthy food to their community, James and Severin relocated to the scenic mountains of North Carolina. In 2019, they established Greenhouse Tower Farms, a state-of-the-art indoor farm dedicated to cultivating nutrient-dense leafy greens and herbs year-round.

James and Severin Garrett’s journey into vertical farming began as a hobby and quickly evolved into a mission to bring fresh, nutrient-dense produce to their community. Captivated by the efficiency and sustainability of Tower Garden technology, they embraced vertical farming as a way to grow more while using less.
In 2019, they made a pivotal move from the busy city of Atlanta to the peaceful mountains of North Carolina. Driven by a shared vision, they began building a state-of-the-art 2,100-square-foot greenhouse designed to house 100 commercial Tower Gardens and produce leafy greens and herbs year-round.
Every detail—from lighting and temperature control to hydroponic nutrients—was thoughtfully planned to create a thriving, environmentally responsible growing system. Watching their first seedlings take root confirmed their belief in the power of sustainable farming.
